2017 NSW state championship results

The NSW Footbike Championships were held on the 9th of July, on a sunny day, although the breeze was a bit stronger and cooler than we would have all liked. The venue this year meant that the sprint distance was shortened to 300metres and the middle distance race was 5 laps of the outside circuit (approx 10.5km).

Results were as follows.

Womens Sprint 300 metres

1st Senior and NSW Champion – Monika Broucek 50.59s,  2nd Senior – Tammy Hewitt 1m 02.53s

1st Masters – Jo Mansell 54.47s

1st Veteren – Margaret Watkiss 1m 02.70s

Mens Sprint 300 metres

1st Master and NSW Champion – David Kellett 37.26s, 2nd Master – Martin Broucek 42.87s, 3rd Master – Keiron Hewitt 44.64s

1st Veteren – Peter Chicco 40.72s, 2nd Vet – Patrick Staunton 42.45s, 3rd Vet – Anthony Brown 43.39s

Womens 10.5km

1st Senior and NSW Champion – Monika Broucek 32m 43.8s,  2nd Senior – Tammy Hewitt 46m 22.34s

1st Masters – Jo Mansell 36m 34.41s

1st Veteren – Margaret Watkiss 43m 33.69s

Mens 10km

1st Master and NSW Champion – David Kellett 26m 42.30s, 2nd Master – Martin Broucek 27m 42.30s, 3rd Master – Keiron Hewitt 28m 41.91s
