Footbike “Have-a-go” day
So how do these Footbikes go? Why are they being used by top sports teams? How come they are great for ages 5 to 85? What is Glute Activation? Come along to Murarrie Recreational Reserve August 13th from 11am till 1pm, and you can try them for yourselves. We will have plenty of footbikes there, and it’ll be your chance to find out why this is one of the quickest growing fitness activities.
If you already have a bike helmet, then all the better, but we will have plenty available. Come along and try for yourselves. Bring the family and friends, and make it a fun activity. 5 years and up welcome, under 5’s can bring their own scooters.
“Designed for fitness, and built for fun.”
The recreational reserve is on Wynnum Road just up from the Cannon Hill shopping centre, and on the left hand side when heading towards the gateway motorway. As you turn left in the carpark, follow around to the right and find parking there. We will be up by the building.
Participants will have the opportunity to win a $50 voucher provided by Kickbike Australia, main sponsor of the event.
I’m a keen 60 yo scooter rider (a Kleefer Globber), for fitness. It’s part of a cross-training resume. I started a few years ago, after finally having to give up running. Your ‘Claim Your Free Footbike Tips’ section on the website doesn’t appear to be working. Could you send me the document. Adult footbiking seems to be an acquired taste in Launceston (Tassie) – they are all MAMILs, which is fine, except for the traffic. I’m hoping to find a few like minded souls, and maybe compete one day. I will need a proper foot bike at some stage, so will be in touch with KSS. Cheers
Hi Mike. Great to hear that you enjoy kicking for fitness, We look forward to seeing you at Footbiking events, and eventually even racing. When you are ready to, or have, upgraded your Footbike, then we know that KSS and Kickbike Australia has other Footbike owners in Tasmania. Maybe you can find a kicking buddy through them. Let us know if you are happy for us to pass on your details to them.
Thanks for letting us know about the Footbike Tips page, we will get it checked, and sorted. We will then register your email address to test it to make sure it is back working.
Cheers
