Footbike Racing May 2011
Oi! You! Yes you! Pump up those footbike tyres and get your butt down to the Murarrie Rec Reserve for the next footbike race!
No excuses…
- Racing doesn’t start til 7.30am – so the “I need my beauty sleep” excuse is super lame
- You’ll be warmly welcomed by a bunch of other crazy kickers – so the “I’m a socially challenged scooter-riding member of society” excuse is out the door
- There is a novice division for first time racers – so the “Snails usually overtake me when I’m riding” excuse doesn’t cut it
- There is a veteran division and the oldest footbiker in the world is in his late 80’s – so the “Grannies don’t kick” is a no-go
- There are Kickbikes available for hire on the day – so the “I stacked my footbike and potato-chipped the front wheel and forks” is a major cop-out!
