We’re doing the Skippy the Kangaroo jump in the air…
We’re howling like a Yowie…
And grinning like a happy piggy in a mud pit…
Why?
Because Australia has secured the Footbike World Championships for 2016.
So…
If you live outside of the ‘Land Down Under’ start saving today for your trip here… it’s as simple as skipping that capuccino, making your own dinner instead of getting takeaway, and footbiking instead of driving into work… and putting that bit of money away safe and sound in your ‘Trip to Australia for the World Champs for 2016’ Piggy-bank!
We can’t promise to protect you completely from Drop Bears (maybe we could add ear muffs to the helmet design???), but we can strap ‘shoo Roo’ devices to your shoes so you’re not attacked by Kangaroos while riding, steer you clear of Great White Shark and Salt Water Crocodile infested waters, and stomp on the ground before the races to scare off the highly venomous snakes and spiders that lurk in our great land.

I am interested in training for that. I am a really fit 59 year young ex marathon runner and had a kick bike 10 years ago for a year. I am about to buy a new one. Hope they have age divisions at the championships?
